    This is the illustration I did for the back of the LAID IN STONE album.

    This illustration was made to become the album cover for a local metal band (LAID IN STONE) I had met a few months back. The concept however, was not my own. I was given by the band a rough layout and basic color theme to work with. As seen in the picture below, I started by re-drawing all the elements of the basic layout and making them much more dynamic looking then what was seen in the rough. One final pencil drawing later, I scanned it in the computer and went to work in photo-shop.

   This illustration became to be what I believe to be one of my strongest illustrations I have ever done. The concept, dynamic anatomy and over all comic book look made this project one of my most favorite pieces to work on. 

    P.S. if you like Lamb of God ish genre of metal then i definitely recommend checking these guys out.

Fightin off the Monstas

    

    This illustration was done off an old sketch I did a while back. I really liked the pose so a few tweaks to the helmet and a few evil monster guys later I completed the final. 

The Mighty Viking

   

    This was the fastest final illustration I've done. The idea came to me when I was listening to one of the tracks by LAID IN STONE and I just started painting away. Two hours later this is what I had.

Darksiders Inspired

   This guy was the result of viewing the concept art for a video game called Darksiders. So I made a huge, evil looking, apocalyptic warrior guy of my own.

Ares vs Beast

    This is a concept illustration for a character I'm designing for a story I created called ZEUS. I'm still fleshing out the details of the story and I don't know if I'll ever post it but this was one of the characters that plays a significant role in said story.

Ares Battlefield Concept

   This was a fairly quick and rough digital painting of ares in a war torn environment.
